By using AskAven (a product of Aven Academy / Kartexa), you agree to these terms. Please read them.

What AskAven is

AskAven is a free AI study assistant. It answers questions, explains concepts, and generates topic maps for revision. It is a study aid, not a substitute for your teachers, textbooks, or official exam material.

Accuracy of answers

• Answers are generated by AI models and may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.
• Always cross-check important facts — especially exam dates, syllabi, cut-offs, and numerical answers — against your official source.
• We are not liable for decisions made solely based on AskAven's responses.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use AskAven to:

• Cheat during a live, proctored exam or assessment.
• Generate harmful, illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
• Attempt to overload, hack, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Impersonate someone else or submit someone else's personal data without consent.

We may limit or block access for accounts/sessions that misuse the service.

No login, session-based use

AskAven does not require an account. Your conversation is tied to a temporary session on your device. We are not responsible for chat history lost when you clear your browser data.

Voice features

Voice input is processed locally in your browser. Voice output (text-to-speech) is generated using a third-party service. Both are provided "as is" and may not be available on every browser or device.

Availability

AskAven runs on free-tier AI infrastructure and may occasionally be slow, rate-limited, or briefly unavailable. We work to keep it running smoothly but don't guarantee uninterrupted access.

Intellectual property

The AskAven name, design, and Knowledge Graph feature belong to Aven Academy / Kartexa. AI-generated answers are provided for your personal study use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
